Notes
This is a 68 page Pamphlet, we do not know who the author/s were, nor the circumstances under which it was published, but it gives every appearance of having been put together by some author, or department, who/which had access to relevant information. There are two parts to the Pamphlet: Part 1 is "Historical Summary of the Allied Offensive from July 15 to November 10" and deals with the "First Period" that is July 15 to September 26 - the Second Battle of The Marne, and the Battle of Picardy; the "Second Period" is September 26 to November 10, and covers the Allied General Offensive (the Battles of Champagne, the Cambresis, and Flanders). Part 11 covers the situation of the German Army on November 10. There are 5 Appendices and 3 Maps. This is a valuable document for the Collection, it is packed with information, and - of course - it is contemporary.
