Notes
This is one of our books which is not about the Great War, but is about one of its consequences. The war was the gigantic spark which led to the formation of the Royal British Legion, and this is a history undertaken by a former official of the Legion who had reached field rank in the Army. He undertook to write the history on behalf of the Legion, so it would be difficult to get it more accurate. The book is oversized, with more than 500 pages. It covers the whole history of the Legion up to the Millenium.
