This is a statistical review of the Italian Navy's war. It was produced in the late Twenties by the Historical Section of the Italian Navy Staff. There is a letter pasted to one of the front papers which is from the Italian Naval Attache in the Royal Italian Embassy in London (Captain F. Farina, IRN) and addressed to the Editor of the Daily Express. In it Farina comments that "the diagrams and photographs with which the book is illustrated are an undeniable proof of the authenticity of the information which the book contains". There are 58 pages which contain text, statistical diagrams and charts, plus many unusual photographs. Then there follows a schedule of 18 high class fold-out documents, supporting the text.
