Notes
The reason this book is in the Collection is because the second half of the book is about the protagonists of the story and their experiences at Gallipoli. The book was written in 1922, very soon after the events which it describes, and based either on first hand accounts or (possibly?) the experiences of the author, so it is very relevant to our Collection. The first half of the book is about the schooling experiences of the protagonists, this part is also interesting as it sheds some considerable light on what Edwardian boarding schools were really like.
