It is probably the best description yet, although we still await a dedicated book about the direct influence of the Pandemic on the course and conduct of the war itself. Nevertheless, this book is welcomed. It deals, on a chapter by chapter basis, with the incidence of the virus in many disparate areas of the world rather than seeking to identify exactly how or where the virus first appeared.
