Notes
This book was first published in 1919. The publisher is unknown. This version is one of Naval & Military's facsimile copies of the original. There is a Preface by Major-General T.N. Shoubridge CB, CMG, DSO, late Commander of the Seventh Division. The maps are by Sergeant E. Luton, RGA. This is a handy little book -115 pages long - which tells the story of one of the BEF Divisions which were sent out to bolster the Italians, especially after Caporetto. It remained in Italy until the end of the war in Italy. As such it sheds light on a fairly unknown aspect of the war, and is a valuable addition to The Collection.
