Notes
This is another of Naval & Military's facsimile reprints of the original, which was first published (publisher unknown) in 1931. The Author was an officer in the R.F.A. who was posted to Admiral Kolchak's Command Structure in 1919. When the inevitable loss to the Bolsheviks arrived, he and others made their escape to Peking by crossing the Gobi Desert. This is a great story of that most turbulent time and it is a good addition to our hopefully ever growing library on one of the more adventurous aspects of the war and its aftermath.
