It was compiled from records of the Intelligence Section of the General Staff, American Expeditionary Forces, at General Headquarters, Chaumont, France, in 1919. This edition we have in the Collection is reproduced exactly as the original, complete and unabridged. However, the book was first published commercially in 1989 by London Stamp Exchange. There are 750 pages of very close printed material. For anyone researching the movements of German Divisions throughout the war, it is something of a goldmine.
