This is the story of DunsterForce. The author was an intelligence officer, but he was also a Special Correspondent for the Daily Chronicle, so the narrative is perhaps that bit spicier than it could have been had a military man without other issues been writing the book. The date of publication is lost, as in so many of these wonderful Naval & Military reprints of facsimiles of the original, but the Preface is dated October 1919 so the date of publication would have been about that date.
