He also wrote other war histories of N.F. units. There is an "Introductory Note" by Major-General Sir Lothian Nicholson, KCB, CMG, the Divisional Commander. The book also has a dedication to Sergeant J.M. Bremmer to commemorate his service with the battalion. This service is confirmed by the records of those who served with the battalion incorporated as an appendix to the book.
