This book was first published in 1924 by Gale & Polden Limited, Aldershot. There is a Foreword by Lieutenant-General Sir Hugh Jeudwine KCB KBE, Director-General of the Territorial Army. The book is another of N & M's reprints, this one is of modest size - there are 48 pages in total - but it does help enormously in building up the statistical picture of the war. Most of the book comprises descriptions of the order of battle in all the main Battles and Engagements; there is a very useful table at the end of the book which sets out each division and between which dates it served.
