This is large format book, with close on 900 pages. It is N & M's usual facsimile production of the compilation of the original "Abstract of Military Statistics", which was published monthly by order of Lloyd George from October 1916, although as far as possible the statistics cover the whole of the period mentioned in the title. The War Office was responsible for this production, the original compilation made its appearance in March 1922.
