Notes
This is, of course, a reprint of the original publication by our old friends at The Naval & Military Press. Sometimes these reprints reveal the details of the original publication, but in this case research has turned up pretty near zero information. It would have been helpful to have gleaned some information about the author, as that sometimes helps with establishing the origins of the book, but not in this case. However, the book is written in American English, and there are some clues to suggest that the author was American so this might well have been from across the Atlantic originally. What we do know is that the original publication dates from post 1929. For all that, this book is a comprehensive account in line with the book's title, and is worth its place in the Collection.
