Notes
With an Introduction by (Lieutenant) Mary Plummer, Canadian Field Comforts Commissioner. This is the story of the first contingent of Canadians, the advance guard of the Canadian Corps, as it became, from their initial training in Canada, through further training on Salisbury Plain, to the battlefields of France and Flanders. There are many wonderful photographs in the book, which is a valuable contribution to understanding the Canadian contribution to the war.
