This is a pamphlet as opposed to a book. It records the failure of the Suvla Bay landings, by reproducing Sir Ian Hamilton's Despatches relating to the subject, extracts from a book written by an officer in the East Yorkshires, who was captured there, and finally two letters to The Times written in 1923 and 1925 by Sir Ian Hamilton and the P.O.W. referred to, respectively. Had the landings at Suvla Bay been exploited immediately, the outcome of the whole Dardanelles Expedition might have been very different; for that reason this is an interesting publication.
